Maggie Lichtenberg, PCC
        — Publishing Coach and Consultant

Maggie Klee Lichtenberg, a former editorial, sales and marketing publishing company executive for 20 years in New York and Boston (Simon & Schuster, Bantam, Grove Press, Beacon Press) works with traditional and independent publishers to successfully publish, market, and distribute their books through a customized program of ongoing telephone appointments and on-site visits.

Maggie's coaching business is thirteen years old. In 1995 she discovered the emerging career of coaching, decided to ”quit corporate America” and resigned her position as marketing director for Beacon Press in Boston. Following her heart, and indulging in a complete lifestyle makeover, Maggie initiated an international publishing coaching business, and relocated to the environment of her dreams -- the Southwest.

Maggie offers a free half hour coaching session by phone to any professional seriously considering coaching.

A sample of recent small publisher clients include Heartsfire Books, John Muir Publications, Health Press, The Center For Touch Drawing, Center for the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders, The University of Nevada Press, Ivy River Press, Rebalance by Lee, San Antonio Express-News, OutsmartYourBrain.com, AuthenticWoman.com, Chicago Review Press, SOS4Students, and Use What You Have Interiors.

Maggie provides keynote addresses and facilitates seminars and workshops for conferences, conventions and association meetings nationwide. In the last several years she has been a featured speaker at PMA, the Independent Book Publishers Association, as well as being on the PMA Board. She has also presented at the Taos Institute of Arts, the Recursos Writers Conferences, the Anderson Schools of Management (UNM), the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) national conferences, Mended Hearts (AHA) national conference, several annual International Coach Federation Conferences, and the Association For Women in Communication.
