York Times Book Review, Publishers Weekly, The Nation, Ms., Mademoiselle, and Working
Woman.
A public speaker
and facilitator, Maggie leads
seminars for writers, publishers, and business owners at universities,
writer’s conferences, women's organizations, and national publisher
association meetings. She is on the board of IBPA (formerly PMA), the
Independent Book Publishers Association and active as a speaker for
ACHA, the Adult Congenital Heart Association.
A graduate of Coach
University, Maggie is
one of the first coaches to earn the Professional Certified Coach designation

She received her BA from the University of Michigan, and pursued graduate
work at Harvard University on a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship. She is past
president of the New York Chapter of the Women's National Book Association.
While marketing director for Beacon Press (1988-1995), Maggie was

She continues to be interviewed about her work as a coach and the unique,
personal life choices she has made.
